The platforms are fabricated in Alloy 800HT, an alloy offering high resistance to chloride enhanced oxidation and carburization while at the same time giving excellent high temperature strengths. The use of Alloy 800HT has proven over the years to give notable topside service on a large number of platforms worldwide.
